WELCOME TO OUR WORLD
Pikes Ibiza is an iconic Ibizan institution, steeped in rock ‘n’ roll history and brimming with personality. The 26-room haven in the San Antonio hills features bespoke rooms, suites & our new garden suites set around the sprawling fairytale gardens and the famous aquamarine pool which was the location for Wham’s ‘Club Tropicana’ video.
A PLAYGROUND FOR THE MUSIC & CULTURAL ELITE
For decades Pikes has welcomed regular guests including the likes of Grace Jones, Tony Curtis, Spandau Ballet, Bon Jovi, George Michael and Freddie Mercury.
LOVINGLY RESTORED IN 2011
Lovingly restored in 2011 and adored by locals, Pikes is one of the few places that still represents the authentic, carefree, Balearic spirit of the island. Initially it was known as the Ibiza Rocks House, but now we’ve really embraced Pikes’ authenticity and what it means to the island, the people on it and not only its regulars but for people who are experiencing it for the first time. “It is a special and unique part of the island that we’ve taken on–I look at it like an old piece of art that we’ve tried to restore and to regenerate the life back into. We’re now in a position where not only has it come back to life but I think it’s definitely more successful than it’s ever been in its whole history now.”
INSIDE PIKES IBIZA - DEDICATED TO THE PURSUIT OF PLEASURE
As the world around us evolves, Pikes remains the whimsical wonderland that locals, bohemians and misfits have always known and loved. A hint of magic is always bubbling beneath the surface here and we encourage our guests and visitors to get lost in the pursuit of pleasure. Come down the rabbit hole with us…
THE POOL
Let us take you to a place where membership’s a smiling face. Immortalised by a scantily clad George Michael and a sax-tooting Andrew Ridgeley in Wham!’s iconic video for Club Tropicana, our sparkling swimming pool has always been the heart and soul of Pikes. Dip your toe in or dive into the deep end and swim up to the best seats in the house – submerged in the pool and conveniently in eye-line with the bar. Surrounded by oversized daybeds on multi levelled terraces, presided over by a giant red crocodile, and featuring shaded chill-out corners plus a DJ booth in poolside pride of place, we welcome you to wonderland…
TENNIS COURT
Anyone for tennis? Or any other game that take your fancy on our famous hot pink court, for that matter? Singles, doubles, mixed doubles – even triples if it takes your fancy! All are welcome here. Hire rackets from reception and join the ranks of Freddie Mercury, who would proudly don his tennis whites back in the day, although legend has it that he was rubbish at the game itself. New balls please! We can arrange private tennis lessons if your skills are anything like Freddie’s, or if you simply want to brush up on your game while you’re staying with us. We can also utilise the court for all types of festivities: open-air cinema, our literary festival, weddings, market stalls, personal training – if you can dream it up, we can make it happen. Game, set, match.
BARS & RESTAURANT
Open to one and all, our award-winning Pikes Restaurant is the place to be for fabulous feasts, decadent dinners and Bacchanalian banquets beneath the stars, with head chef Lee Milne is at the helm. By day, it’s all about our Love Food Ibiza Brunch, curated by the terrifically talented Tess Prince. Whether you join us for brekkie, brunch, lunch or dinner, it’s all about beautiful locally sourced food with a rock and roll twist. Whether you’re starting your day sipping drinks by our pool (it’s never too early!), selecting a special vino to go along with your meal at Pikes Restaurant, sampling the bespoke cocktails at the Curiosity Shop, being tempted by a tipple on our Sunset Terrace or staying (ahem!) hydrated in Freddies, there’s a bar to suit your every mood at Pikes. Our bartenders are always smiling, and the beer is always cold – we’re here to serve!
FREDDIES
It’s a kind of magic. The little club space with a whole lot of character, Freddies is named in honour of the room’s most famous former guest. What was once a luxury hotel suite has been transformed into an intimate party venue and our roll call of DJs reads like a desert island wish list for discerning music lovers. You’ll rub shoulders with billionaires and bus drivers on its famous dance floor or by the buzzing bars – we’re all equal under the Freddies dazzling disco ball.
